Ashlee Cunningham is the Assistant Director of Programs at the Center for Community Investment, focusing on the Connecting Capital and Community initiative and CCI’s Sprints. Ashlee has devoted the last 12 years of her career to communities, with a lens on organizing, framing and developing core programs; tackling issues like quality housing and neighborhoods; small business development; and equal access to services. Prior to joining CCI, Ashlee led Capital Impact Partners’ Detroit-based programmatic activities specific to resident retention, affordable housing, and community development. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the College of Community and Public Service at Grand Valley State University. Ashlee is a native Detroiter and continues to live and work in her hometown.
