Julius leads Stonehenge’s origination, underwriting & administration of federal New Markets Tax Credit related investments nationally and works to increase corporate lending in underserved communities.

Prior to his current role, Julius was the director of  Stonehenge Capital and executive director of Crescent City Community Land Trust , where he helped pioneer the city-wide introduction of permanently affordable residential and commercial real estate solutions coupled with stewardship in New Orleans. He headed Liberty Bank and Trust Company’s community development unit (CDFI + CDE) from 2003-2014, which helped finance affordable home purchases by low-to-moderate income families along with providing capital to numerous emerging small businesses and agencies nationally. Julius has also worked as a foundation program officer, urban planner, regional economic analyst and as an investment banker. He is currently a volunteer with both the New Orleans African American Museum and People’s Housing+

Julius is a graduate of Hampton University – with a degree in History – and he holds master’s degrees in both Business Administration and Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
