Kendra J. Freeman is the Vice President of Programs & Strategic Impact at Metropolitan Planning Council, having previously served as their Director of Community Development & Engagement. In this role, she oversees the organization’s housing policy and equitable transit-oriented development (eTOD) programs and guides its approach to community engagement. With 20 years of experience in program development and operations, she has held leadership positions in the private and nonprofit sectors with a focus on affordable housing and capacity building. Kendra holds a bachelor’s in sociology and a master’s in public administration from DePaul University.
