Kim Dempsey is EVP, Capital Markets for Housing Partnership Network (HPN), a national collaborative of 100+ affordable housing nonprofits. She raises capital and grants, and oversees HPN’s lending and strategic communications. Previously, Kim was deputy director of Social Investments at the Kresge Foundation, utilizing debt, guarantees, and grants to advance climate resilience, college access/success, health, creative placemaking, and housing stability. Prior to Kresge, Kim spent a decade at national CDFI Capital Impact Partners, ending her tenure as senior director of lending. Kim graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in community studies and sociology from UC Santa Cruz, and has a master’s in public policy from Harvard Kennedy School.
