Lynnette McRae is a community development strategist with a passion for economic justice and closing the racial wealth gap. She currently is the Director of Connecting Capital and Community at the Chicago Community Trust. She also has served as Director of Neighborhood Strategy at Black Chicago Tomorrow, where she connected business and civic partners with community leaders to increase resources and investment in the African-American community. Her background is in housing and economic development, grantmaking, place-based investment, and policy development. In her spare time, Lynnette is an avid mentor, traveler, and dessert connoisseur.
