Michael Wash has more than 16 years of experience in the acquisition, finance and development of single family and multifamily affordable and permanent supportive housing. As Deputy Director for the Riverside County’s Department of Housing and Workforce Solutions, he oversees the implementation of housing and community development programs and projects. Michael seeks to leverage public and private investments to radically increase the supply of housing in the region. Prior to joining the County, he worked for over 11 years as a Land Acquisition Project Manager for the Coachella Valley Housing Coalition. Michael holds a BA in Political Science from Stonehill College and a Master of Public Policy and Public Administration from Northwestern University.
