Melissa is the Deputy Director of the Philadelphia field office of LISC, a community development financial institution and community development intermediary. She leads the design and implementation of programs that bolster the capacities of community-based organizations and foster cross-sector collaborations. She joined LISC in 2015 as a Program Officer focusing on creative placemaking, economic development, and community safety. Previously, Melissa led community-based programs at Asian Arts Initiative, The Village of Arts and Humanities and the North 5th Street Revitalization Project. She holds an M.S. in Community and Regional Planning and J.D. from Temple University and a B.A. from Amherst College.
