
Robert Harris is the Center for Community Investment's Initiative Director of Connecting Capital and Community, a three-year initiative in six cities taking aim at the racial inequities that are at the core of the housing ecosystem. Robert has served as an Executive Director within corporate philanthropy with a focus on community impact after natural disaster and tragedy. Previously, Robert has worked at a community level and within high schools on Chicago's Southside. He has coached communities to develop strategies focused on dismantling systemic racism to improve outcomes in education for marginalized populations. He is a member of the Center for Community Investment's Field Catalyst Cohort. Raised in Gary, Indiana, he has a masters degree in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University.
