Our Network

As CCI supports leaders across the country who are using capital absorption to transform local community investment systems, a powerful network of practitioners is emerging.

Strengthening Our Work

A vibrant and growing network of community investment practitioners is centering capital absorption, racial equity, and adaptive leadership as they reshape community investment. Capital absorption is barely a decade old, so this network is building the field together. CCI is proud to be supporting their efforts to learn together, cocreate tools and practices, share insights and accomplishments, and develop new ways of supporting community aspirations.

Multisector Teams

Collaboration is the strategy. Communities transformed, by their
people, for their people, is the outcome.

The things communities want—quality housing, good jobs, convenient transportation, accessible green spaces—can only be accomplished through cross-sector collaboration.

Multisector Cohort and Sprint Participants

Communities are like fingerprints and snowflakes: no two are alike.

Cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all community development approaches can end up hurting communities as much as helping them.

Stay Tuned:

So far, our network has been made up of participants in our programs and partnerships, but new opportunities are coming soon!
