Fortino Morales III has served as the city of Riverside’s sustainability manager since 2024, leading efforts to advance a more sustainable and resilient city. He oversees the city’s Climate Action and Adaptation Plan with a 2050 horizon year. Morales holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and a master’s degree in public policy from UC Riverside, where he previously served as sustainability officer for six years.
