Julie Corrales is a first-generation Chicana community and political activist and a lifelong San Diegan. She is a founding board member and executive director of Tierras Indígenas Community Land Trust, a BIPOC-led nonprofit working to curb gentrification, restore ecosystems, and preserve culture in Barrio Logan. She also chairs the Barrio Logan Community Planning Group.
