Donald Rencher

Donald Rencher is the Director of Housing and Revitalization for the City of Detroit. In this position, Donald develops strategy and guides investment of U.S. HUD community, housing, and economic development funding. Donald has overseen more than $500 million investments in mixed-income housing projects. Before arriving in Detroit, Donald worked as a Senior Attorney for the Michigan State Housing Development Authority, where he served as lead counsel over the agency’s billion dollar single-family portfolio. He was also responsible for housing discrimination-related  cases and oversaw more than 50 large-scale multifamily real estate finance transactions.
