Aysha Pamukcu, JD, is the Policy Fund Director at the San Francisco Foundation, where she amplifies community power and accelerates equitable policy wins. She is also the founder of Movement Praxis, an equity-centered policy and philanthropic consulting practice. With the support of the Fulcrum Fellowship, she developed the civil rights of health framework, a partnership between civil rights, public health, and justice movements.

Previously, she led ChangeLab Solutions’ health equity practice, helping communities leverage policy to improve the health of marginalized people and places. She has championed civil rights at the Greenlining Institute and human rights at the War Crimes Tribunal in Cambodia. Her climate justice work includes leading a climate-focused donor collaborative, serving on the founding Advisory Board of the Hive Fund for Climate and Gender Justice, and current roles on the founding team of the Just Transition Lawyering Institute and board of the Asian Pacific Environmental Network.

Aysha has been nationally recognized for her innovative work, most recently as one of the “40 under 40 in Public Health” by the de Beaumont Foundation and “40 under 40 in Minority Health” by the National Minority Quality Forum.
