As an independent fellow studying urban water finance in New Orleans, Liza Cowan works with business, civic, and community leaders to support implementation and financing of integrated stormwater management in the region. Liza has worked on the Gulf Coast since Hurricane Katrina in 2005, including as a region executive with the JPMorgan Chase Foundation and as a program officer at the Greater New Orleans Foundation. She graduated from Dartmouth College, earned a master’s in education from Harvard, and holds a certificate in urban redevelopment from the University of Pennsylvania. Liza currently serves as a co-host and organizer with the Campaign for Equity: New Orleans and as a director of the Adirondack Council.
