Khaliff Davis, CFA brings over a decade of experience in mission investing and field building through his work developing new programmatic initiatives, raising capital, and funding mission-driven businesses that improve economic opportunity and equity across the U.S. His most recent work includes leading system building efforts and capital deployment strategies in the housing, education, and food sectors.
Currently, Khaliff is Managing Director, Structured Lending & Investments at Reinvestment Fund, a national mission-driven financial institution (CDFI) that provides capital for transformative projects that revitalize communities so that residents can thrive. As Managing Director, Khaliff leads the management and oversight of the firm’s registered investment management platform, designed to drive equitable financing impact beyond the firm’s core balance sheet. In support of the organization’s equity objectives, Khaliff also serves as a member of the lending management team, implementing strategic lending priorities such as the Growing Diverse Housing Developers initiative, an innovative program designed to drive flexible capital to housing developers of color. His prior role at Reinvestment Fund included deploying over $200 million in catalytic capital in the Southeast, with particular emphasis in Metro Atlanta.
Before joining Reinvestment Fund, Khaliff worked at Capital Impact Partners another CDFI, deploying mission-driven capital, convening communities of practice in the education sector and housing sector, and building consensus on sector-specific corporate strategy. He has also worked as an affordable housing developer and classroom teacher in Metro Atlanta. Khaliff received a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He also received an MCRP from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Khaliff is a Chartered Financial Analyst as of 2022. He is a member of the LEAD Atlanta Class of 2022, serves on the board of Atlanta Emerging Markets, Inc. (a NMTCs subsidiary of Atlanta’s economic development agency), and serves on the board of Resurgence Hall, a K-8th public school in Metro Atlanta.
