Robin Brulé is a resilient, passionate, results-based leader committed to racial and economic equity. She is a social sector architect with a proven record of creating and integrating safe and accessible financial inclusion and capital programs into multiple systems to ensure that all people can be economically secure, build assets, and thrive. Robin’s work researching and incubating “an alternative to the alternatives” cross-sector relationship-based microlending program has been recognized nationally and internationally. Her work has influenced new practices and policies across the nation and driven large-scale systems transformation in wealth building, income supports, workforce development and employment, and equitable economic development as well as emergency response financial supports and alternative VITA programs. Her experience spans philanthropy, finance, government, economic development, and education, garnering two Harvard Ash Innovation Awards and a Spotlight on Poverty Ideas for Action Award. Robin is an Annie E. Casey Children and Family Fellow, an Opportunity Finance Network Fellow, and the National Association of Federal Credit Unions “Professional of the Year,” and she serves on Governor Lujan Grisham’s Commission on the Status of Women. She is also an Everytown Survivor Fellow and works on public health and safety policy to prevent gun violence.
