Adelle Villarente is a recent graduate of John Jay College, with a double-major in Sociology and Spanish. She is now a Public Relations graduate student at the City College of New York in their Branding and Integrated Communications program. Adelle also currently works as the Marketing Assistant for the The Towers at CCNY, a Harlem-based student resident hall. She is excited to spend six months at the Center for Community Investment, learning more about and the amazing work they do and mixing her love for digital marketing and her desire to achieve social justice. Adelle ultimately aspires to use her platform to address inequalities within the cosmetics industry and advocate for marginalized communities. In her free time, Adelle loves to scroll endlessly through TikTok (which doubles as “field research” in her opinion) and look at pictures and videos of her dog, Biko.
