Gretchen Beesing is a Senior Fellow at the Center for Community Investment, where she advances an initiative focused on community land ownership. She also leads Yes/And Strategies, a consultancy offering strategic and programmatic support for organizations working toward democratic and economic justice.
For 10 years, Gretchen served as CEO of Catalyst Miami, spearheading innovations like Future Bound Miami, Florida’s first universal children’s savings program, and launching a cooperative incubator.
Gretchen’s leadership has been recognized through fellowships such as the 2015 American Express NGEN Fellowship and the 2019 Ambassador for Health Equity Fellowship (PolicyLink and FSG). She has been a Fulcrum Fellow and a Field Catalyst with CCI. She is also an alumna of the Federal Reserve Board’s Community Leaders Forum and a licensed clinical social worker.
