Vanessa Yesufu is the Program Associate for Connecting Capital and Community (3C) at the Center for Community Investment. Vanessa brings experience from international nonprofit organizations such as Save the Children, Malaria Consortium and Relief International where she supported their development and communications efforts. She has worked with youth in disinvested urban communities in both the UK and US to educate about and encourage participation in government programs that support their future goals. Vanessa is passionate about the development of policies that facilitate racial equity across different areas. She holds a B.A in Political Science with a Minor in Spanish and Sociology and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Houston.
